Founded by Joe Haege and Corrina Repp, the Oregon-based quartet Tu Fawning are due to release their debut single ‘I Know You Know’ through City Slang on December 13. Taken from their forthcoming album ‘Hearts on Hold’, the haunting 1920s inspired, guitar led melody makes for an oddly compelling listen. The sharp twangs and piercing, layered vocals rise above piano flourishes and sparse textured instrumentals. The band’s mysterious and eerie below perfectly reflects their elegant, off kilter and ethereal output.
Following the release of their new album, out January 10, the band will be playing a few dates across Europe.
