Troye Sivan wants to drop a new song and is paying freelance artists to help him

Troye Sivan has revealed he wants to drop a new song, and is willing to spend his music video budget on working with freelance artists to support them amid coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in many freelance workers struggling to find work. Australian singer/songwriter Troye Sivan wants to help freelance artists, and has presented a project in the hope of supporting some freelance artists.

In his latest Instagram post, Sivan writes, "I would like to release new music I just decided. Freelance artists (graphic designers, animation artists) HMU I want to work with you and take the money I would be spending on music videos and give it to you. This is a tough and scary time and I feel so lucky to have music and art to get me through emotionally and financially and I want to share that so bad."

Sivan adds, "I have no idea when this song is gonna come out bc I haven't really spoken to anyone about it yet but it's gonna be soon as hell."

The last track that Sivan featured on is Allie X's "Love Me Wrong" single that landed in December 2019. Last month Sivan also co-wrote BTS' "Louder Than Bombs" with Allie X, Leland, and Bram Inscore.

Troye Sivan is yet to reveal a title and release date for his new single.
