Tropical F*ck Storm cover Talking Heads' "Heaven"
Tropical F*ck Storm have returned to release a cover of Talking Heads' "Heaven".
The group's cover of Talking Heads' "Heaven" is the b-side to last month's "Legal Ghost" single. The cover was recorded on the same four-track machine that was used to record the original version of "Legal Ghost" more than two decades ago.
Both tracks were recorded at Dodgy Brothers Studio in Central Victoria. Don Don contributes pedal steel to the cover, while H'y plays violin.
Tropical Fuck Storm say of "Heaven", ""Heaven" is this weird chameleon-like tune which has meant one thing for about 40 years, but in light of all this pandemic shit and all the trouble and strife in the western world, has done a total 180 degree flip and now means the reverse of what it once did. It also has a lovely melody."
The Australian group are yet to follow up last year's Braindrops album.
