Tricky and Oh Land reunite on new song "I'm In The Doorway"
Tricky has released his new single "I'm In The Doorway", which features vocals from Denmark's Oh Land and will appear on Tricky's forthcoming LP Fall To Pieces.
"I'm In The Doorway" is the third single to be shared from Tricky's new album, and sees him reunite with Oh Land after collaborating on previous tracks including 2014's "Right Here" and 2016's "I'm Not Going".
Tricky's new outing arrives after previous singles "Thinking Of" and "Fall Please", both of which featured vocals from frequent collaborator Marta.
Speaking about the new track, Tricky explains, "With most of my stuff, there's nothing else like it around, but with "Fall Please" and "I’m In The Doorway", it's my version of pop music, the closest I've got to making pop."
Fall To Pieces will follow on from Tricky's 2017 LP Ununiform.
He recorded the album from his Berlin studio in late 2019, and a large portion of the tracks feature Marta Złakowska. He says of Marta, "I can tell when someone is humble and down to earth. Marta doesn't care about being famous, she just wants to sing."
