Trent Reznor not too pleased about recent Nine Inch Nails personnel changes
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has spoken about the recent departures from his live band, notably that of former bandmates Eric Avery and Adrian Belew.
Talking to Radio.com on the matter, Reznor recently said that the incidents have been ‘disruptive’ in the build-up to his new album release.
He added:
“It’s felt like a wrench in the works at times, but at the same time it’s made me rethink a lot of how we put this together, and I think where we’re ending up at is a place that’s much truer to what Nine Inch Nails should be… and better in the long run.”
Despite the disruptive line-up changes, Hesitation Marks is set for release on 3 September via Columbia and will also see contributions from Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and D’Angelo collaborator Pino Palladino.
Trent Reznor and co have already previewed the first single from the release, ‘Came Back Haunted’, which will get a video accompaniment directed by David Lynch.
