Travis Scott is trying to track down an official Frank Ocean Channel Orange vinyl that doesn't exist

Travis Scott has asked fans with help finding an "original" vinyl pressing of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange album following its 10th anniversary, but it's never been given an official release.

Following the 10th anniversary of Frank Ocean's Channel Orange album on Sunday (10 July) and the release of Ocean's new Blonded Radio episodes to mark the occasion, Travis Scott took to Instagram asking fans to help him locate an "original" vinyl edition of the 2012 album.

"If someone can find me a original channel ORANGE vinyl I would be thankful," Travis Scott wrote.

The Astroworld rapper will likely be searching for a long time, as an official vinyl pressing of Frank Ocean's album doesn't exist (yet). Frank Ocean previously teased in 2019 that it would be coming to vinyl "soon", but it's still nowhere to be seen. Fans have also been hoping that the album's 10th anniversary could result in the official vinyl release, but there's been no word from Ocean.

Back in 2018, Frank Ocean responded to reports that he had sent Scott a cease and desist letter asking for his vocals to be removed from Astroworld's "Carousel" track due to unauthorised vocal effects. Ocean wrote that he "approved it before it came out," and that he "and Travis resolved it amongst ourselves weeks ago."

On Sunday (10 July) Frank Ocean released two new episodes of Blonded Radio on Apple Music 1 to mark the 10th anniversary of his Channel Orange album which featured self-produced instrumentals.
