Travis Scott reportedly removed from 2022 Coachella line-up following Astroworld tragedy
Travis Scott has reportedly been dropped from the Coachella 2022 line-up after 10 people died as a result of a crowd surge at his Astroworld festival last month.
Palm Springs' KESQ reported on Friday (10 December) that Traviss Scott would no longer be playing Coachella 2022 after the Astroworld tragedy, following "reports from the city of Indio and the Community Services Manager Jim Curtis."
Variety has also picked up on the news, stating that Coachella promoters Goldenvoice have not yet commented on the report, and representatives for Scott, the festival and the city of Indio haven't confirmed the KESQ report.
The reports come after a petition for Coachella to drop Travis Scott from the 2022 line-up was launched following the Astroworld tragedy. At the time of writing, the petition has passed 60,000 signatures.
