Trash Kit unveil new single "Sunset"
Trash Kit have returned with "Sunset", the second offering from their first album in five years, Horizon.
"Sunset" lands after lead single and album title-track "Horizon".
Vocalist and guitarist Rachel Aggs says of the new song, ""Sunset" is about the end of the world also maybe the afterlife? When we wrote it I had just read The Parable of the Sower by the Afro futurist sci-fi writer Octavia Butler - its set in an apocalyptic California that has run out of water and the main character is alone in accepting that civilisation as she knows it has collapsed and that the solution is not to try to salvage what's lost but instead to seek hope in change and renewal…!"
Horizon is Trash Kit's first album since 2014's Confidence.
At the end of last month, Aggs also released her new record with Sacred Paws.
