Tove Styrke announces fourth album with new single "Hardcore"
Tove Styrke has shared news of her upcoming fourth album HARD, and has released new single "Hardcore" to accompany the announcement.
"Hardcore" is Tove Styrke's first outing since January's "Show Me Love", and is produced and co-written by Elvira Anderfjärd (Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran) and Jakob Jerlström (Tove Lo, Lorde).
Tove Styrke says of the new single, ""Hardcore" is definitely one of my favouurite tracks on the album. It’s about wanting someone hardcore. I took the term from gaming, if you die you die but it’s all in. I also wanted to make the track sound drunk, like when you’re lost in a person. That’s why we made the temposhifts before each chorus. The production is so good on this one, it blows my mind."
As well as releasing "Harcore", Tove Styrke has shared news of her fourth album HARD, which will follow 2018's Sway and is due to land in June.
She adds of the album, "I’m releasing my fourth album - HARD. It’s been in the making for years and I’ve decided it’s time to finish it up now and release it. Life, feelings, bodies. Everything’s hard. I can’t wait to show you this music!"
