Tove Lo to release merch bundles to raise money for MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund
Tove Lo has announced that she'll be releasing numerous merchandise bundles to fundraise for MusiCares' COVID-19 Relief Fund.
Artists around the world have been trying to raise money for coronavirus research and healthcare workers. Many have used livestream performances, or single releases to generate donations from fans, but Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo has decided to fundraise through merchandise bundles.
Tove Lo announced the idea on Instagram yesterday (22 April), and wrote, "There’s been a lot of news about things not happening lately while we’re all in lockdown, I’m excited to talk about something that IS happening and will help a great organization I care deeply about. Over the next days and weeks I'll be dropping specialty merch bundles and items, the proceeds of which will go to benefit MusiCares in support of their COVID-19 relief efforts and the amazing and vital work they are doing to support the music community."
She adds, "While i know you’re all rocking your quarantine looks, this is your chance to get some fresh gear for yourself or a loved one, while helping a great cause. First up is a hand signed or unsigned poster, Gritty Pretty tote bag + Sunshine Kitty plush toy! She’s great company."
