Torres' new single, the title track from her upcoming LP Sprinter, has a bone-chilling visual accompaniment.
Presented as a kind of plague doctor-cum-angel of death, Mackenzie Scott - also known as Torres - sweeps through barren monochrome, all the while grappling with the legacy of her religious upbringing.
Torres' sophomore LP Sprinter is available 18 May on Partisan Records. It was written and recorded in Bridport, Dorset, and at the Bristol studio of Portishead's Adrian Utley.
