Tool fans are not impressed by the Fear Inoculum ultra deluxe vinyl price tag
It appears that Tool have disappointed their fans by pricing the ultra deluxe, limited edition signed vinyl of their Fear Inoculum album at $810.
Yesterday (20 February) Tool announced that signed, ultra deluxe editions of their 2019 album Fear Inoculum would be available to buy at their live shows for those with a Toolarmy VIP package.
In the Instagram post, Tool revealed that they have a worldwide release for the ultra deluuxe version in April.
The ultra deluxe edition of Fear Inoculum features five LPs, each one featuring audio tracks on one side, while the reverse side features etched art.

To most Tool fans, this would be an exciting opportunity, but it appears that the price tag might be a far reach, with some fans comparing the pricing to that of Kanye West's merch at his Donda shows last year.
One Twitter user wrote, "$810?! For a signed copy of the deluxe vinyl for Fear Inoculum?! I love Tool, but eat your heart out Kanye West. The fuck?"

Another added, "Tool selling signed vinyl on their tour for $810 is the biggest music industry piss take I've seen in awhile..."

On Reddit, the reaction wasn't much different, with one fan writing, "Seems like a great way to let your fans know that you have absolutely no respect for them, whatsoever."
