Tomberlin donating proceeds from Casiotone For The Painfully Alone cover to Breonna Taylor's family
Tomberlin has covered Casiotone For The Painfully Alone's "Natural Light", and is donating all proceeds made today (5 June) to Breonna Taylor's family.
"Natural Light" is the first release from Tomberlin since her 2018 debut album At Weddings, and arrives after last year's cover of Low's "Words" with DIIV.
Tomberlin will be donating all proceeds made from Bandcamp sales today (5 June) to the family of Breonna Taylor on what would be her 27th birthday. All future proceeds will be donated to "the Black Lives Matter fund and various funds that pay reparations to Black organisations in need."
The description of Tomberlin's cover also reveals that it was recorded on the iPhone Voice Memo app.
