Tom Williams announces fifth record All Change, unveils new single "Little Bird"
Tom Williams has announced new album All Change and shared a rock'n'roll belter called "Little Bird".
Williams, formerly of of Tom Williams and The Boat, is following February's "Everyone Needs A Home", a single about the ongoing refugee crisis.
All Change, which began life when Williams was on the verge of abandoning the industry for a new career in teaching, sees the artist working with a "shoestring budget" and a gaggle of first year music tech students from Leeds Beckett uni. Financial issues didn't get in the way though, with Williams ploughing onwards to create bold tracks with rich, classic pop panache.
"There’s a sentimentality and earnestness to these songs, and I’ve got to the stage in my life when I just don’t care anymore. I’m dad dancing at my own wedding now..." Williams says of the songs on the new album.
Williams will be playing new material at shows this month and next - tickets are on sale now.
