Tom Waits is set to perform a full set at the Neil Young-curated Bridge School Benefit.
Waits said in a statement, “I had every good intention to stay home and work on my JD Salinger Halloween mask, but when Neil told me yesterday he was serving burnt cow’s eyes on a flat tire and it’s all gluten free, I invited myself!”
The acoustic-only event, held 26-27 October in Mountain View, California, will also include Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, My Morning Jacket, Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, Elvis Costello, Heart, and fun.
The benefit concert which is held annually supports the Bridge School which helps children with severe communication disabilities.
