Special guest Stevie Nicks will be closing the event, with The Lumineers also set to perform on the day, which forms the final night of the British Summer Time series.
The show is taking place as part of The Heartbreakers' 40th anniversary celebrations, and marks their first UK performance since 2012 - and only their second visit in 18 years.
Penelope Boyd, Head of Events at The Royal Parks, says of the bookings: “We are delighted to welcome Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, along with Stevie Nicks to Hyde Park. Kings Of Leon, Green Day, Phil Collins, and Justin Bieber have already been confirmed for the huge outdoor concerts, with more headliners and supporting acts to be confirmed.
