Tokyo Police Club's Dave Monks announces solo album with lead single "Don’t Go Falling To Pieces"
Tokyo Police Club vocalist Dave Monks has announced his debut solo LP On A Wave, alongside revealing the lead single "Don't Go Falling To Pieces".
Monks' solo venture arrives after Tokyo Police Club's fourth album TPC, which landed last year.
"Don't Go Falling To Pieces" is the second single to be shared from Monks' On A Wave record, after last month's "Bluebird".
Speaking about his forthcoming album, Monks says, "this might be my favourite album I have been a part of but I definitely just made it one step, one flight, one song at a time. I didn’t really know where I was going with it until it all came together. I’m really happy I stepped into the unknown and endured some moments of serious doubt and wanting to cut songs and redo them."
