Tirzah is joined by frequent collaborator Micachu during her set at this year's End of the Road Festival.
Bringing one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year to sunny Wiltshire (and for once that's not sarcasm), alt-pop up-and-comer Tirzah beguiled the Big Top Stage at End of the Road with a succinct-but-compelling showcase of her remarkable debut Devotion.
Drawing upon the assistance of Micachu (better known these days as award winning film composer Mica Levi), her soulfully downbeat paeans to modern love, underpinned with strikingly silken vocals, made the hulking circus tent feel as intimate as a church.
End of the Road Festival continues on Friday 31 August with headline sets from Jeff Tweedy and St Vincent.
