Timbaland and Jay-Z patched up former beef to work on new album
Hip-hop producer Timbaland revealed in a video interview that he and Jay-Z had to make amends prior to working on the rapper’s recently-released Magna Carta Holy Grail.
The dispute in question, Timbaland says, was “personal” rather than “professional”, admitting that he was formerly immature but, after reuniting live with Hov, saw his mistakes more clearly.
The album was officially released on the 4 July with a million albums being given to Samsung Galaxy owners free of charge (which has stirred the RIAA around quite a bit, as far as its rules on Gold and Platinum certification go).
