Tim Burgess to host Kraftwerk listening party today in memory of late co-founder Florian Schneider
Tim Burgess has announced a last-minute Twitter listening party addition for later today (7 May), and it'll be a silent listening party for Kraftwerk to pay tribute to their late co-founder Florian Schneider.
The Charlatans' singer has been keeping music fans united on Twitter during the coronavirus pandemic by hosting listening parties on the social media site, normally with live updates from band members about the album being listened to.
Earlier today (7 May), in light of the news of Florian Schneider's passing yesterday (6 May), Burgess announced that he will be hosting a last-minute Kraftwerk listening party on Twitter at 6pm BST today, writing, "Let’s listen to Computer World by Kraftwerk, together. No tweets from me, no guests, no insights. Just a shared listening experience in memory of Florian Schneider."
