Tim Burgess, Bill Ryder-Jones and more to play Tiny Changes' Tiny Gigs next month
Frightened Rabbit's Tiny Changes have announced two days of Tiny Gigs for next month, featuring performances from Tim Burgess, Bill Ryder-Jones and others.
The Tiny Gigs events are a fundraiser for Frightened Rabbit's Tiny Changes charity, and will raise awareness for the important work that children and young persons charities are doing during the coronavirus pandemic in Scotland.
Tiny Gigs will take place across two days next month, and as well as hosting livestream performances from Tim Burgess and Bill Ryder-Jones, other artists including Matt Maltese, The Staves, Matilda Mann, Aoife Nessa Frances, Cloth, and more will also perform.
Grant Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit says of the event, "At a time when so many of us might be feeling disconnected and isolated from the world let’s all get together in a virtual field and enjoy some togetherness with a bunch of amazing musicians. Instead of feeling like we’re missing out on seeing friends, going to gigs and singing along together let’s make the most of being able to sit and watch a music festival from our own couch in our pants! What started as a wee idea after seeing a bunch of artists perform for folk online has been turned in to a reality by a few wonderful folk at Tiny Changes. Join in, sing along and then at the end of the night you don’t need to fumble around in the dark looking for your tent. You can go to your own bed!! Result!"
Frightened Rabbit and the family of their late vocalist Scott Hutchison launched Tiny Changes in May 2019 to support young people with improving mental health.
