Tierra Whack continues sharing a new track every week, this time revealing her gritty flow with "Unemployed".
"Unemployed" is the fifth single to land in five weeks on a Tuesday, after last week's "Wasteland", and earlier singles "Gloria", "Clones", and "Only Child".
Speaking to Zane Lowe about her new single on his Beats 1 show, Whack revealed that her mother helped her with the hook for "Unemployed", "My mom is never in the studio with me, but she was in the studio that day and she like basically helped me with the hook. It's crazy."
The stream of new singles are the first from Whack since her 2018 debut album Whack World.
"Unemployed" is out now. Tierra Whack plays Coachella and Primavera Sound festivals this summer. Find out more.
