By The Sea confirmed that Hot Chip would be headlining their inaugural festival's Friday night later this year.
Foals are headlining Saturday night - tickets for that sold out in two minutes. The full bill of supporting artists and DJs is yet to be confirmed.
By The Sea is taking place at the recently reopened Dreamland amusement park in Margate, on 13 and 14 November.
Tickets for the show are now on sale for £28.50 and include access to the park's rides and amusements.
Hot Chip released their stunning record Why Make Sense? via Domino earlier this year to widespread acclaim.
