Thurston Moore to tour UK with Michael Chapman

Sonic Youth man Thurston Moore has announced a joint UK tour with renowned British songwriter Michael Chapman.
The tour, given the name ‘Acoustic Guitars In An Electric Pairing’, will see each musician play a solo set before teaming up at the end of each other’s performances.
There will be seven dates in total during February 2013, opening with a London show at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Rooms on 1 February.
