Experimental musician, Loren Connors is known for his collaborative tendencies – having previously worked with the likes of Jim O’Rourke, Cat Power and more. So it’s no surprise, then, that the guitarist is set to team up with Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore on a new release.
Connors and Moore, who have recorded together in the past with MMMR coming out in 1998 with help from Lee Ranaldo, will release The Only Way To Go Is Straight Through on April 20 (aka Record Store Day).
The LP, only two tracks but nonetheless over 40 minutes in length, was recorded in Brooklyn and Manhattan during 2012.
