Thurston Moore announces Rock n Roll Consciousness album, shares "Smoke Of Dreams"
Thurston Moore has announced new record Rock n Roll Consciousness and shared the first single "Smoke Of Dreams".
It's Moore's first record since 2015's The Best Day and sees him unite with Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine), James Sedwards (Nøught, Chrome Hoof), and Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth). Although rumoured for a long time (and discussed in numerous interviews), this is the first official confirmation - and, crucially, it has a proper release date.
Recorded with super-producer Paul Epworth (Adele) at The Church in London, the album will feature just five tracks.
Moore will tour the record as part of The Thurston Moore Group this spring with the same lineup that recorded the LP.
