Three Trapped Tigers announce new album Silent Earthling and UK tour dates
Almost half a decade on from the release of their debut album, Three Trapped Tigers are back with the news of a highly anticipated follow up.
Following live dates with the likes of Deftones and The Dillinger Escape Plan, Silent Earthling was born out of collaboration with Karl Hyde (Underworld) and Brian Eno.
"Our whole operation is very DIY," bandmember Matt Calvert states of recording the album. "Other than a few days of intense drum recording in a ‘proper’ studio, we recorded everything else in my flat, where I also mixed the album."
"Some of the tunes are quite aggressive, some are poignant, some are just dumb, rocking fun," he continues. "I guess we have tried to refine our sound whilst keeping it vital and exciting."
The trio have shared the title track from the record, which can be streamed below, and announced UK tour dates through April and May, details fo which can be found beneath.
Silent Earthling is released via Superball Music on 1 April.
