It's already just been over a year since the original release of "Blinding Lights", so it would make sense if The Weeknd does mark the occasion with a new remix tomorrow.
The remix, if true, could be released as a response to "Blinding Lights" being the most streamed track in the world on Spotify for 2020, or a response to The Weeknd being snubbed from the 2021 Grammy nominations despite the success of his After Hours album and singles.
