There's a new Wordle-inspired game for music lovers called Heardle
A new Wordle-inspired, music guessing game called Heardle has been launched for music lovers, testing their ability to guess the song with a short snippet of the song introduction.
Heardle, the new Wordle-inspired game for music lovers, gained traction over the weekend after music lovers put their song knowledge to the test.
The online game features a new song each day with a snippet as a clue, and gives users six attempts to guess the song. If users guess incorrectly, they'll get a longer snippet from the introduction of the song.
Heardle, created by Omakase, is, according to the site, "A respectful homage to Wordle, with a musical twist."
The description adds, "Each Heardle is semi-randomly plucked from a long list of popularly streamed artists. Much love, and all relevant copyright, to those featured."
