Theophilus London says he was "hacked" after being accused of trying to sell Miley Cyrus collab
Theophilus London has said he was "hacked" after being accused of attempting to sell his unreleased Miley Cyrus collaboration over Instagram.
In March 2018, the two artists teased plans to collaborate after Theophilus London shared a snap of him and Cyrus in the studio together. Since then, Theophilus London has shared teasers of the track here and there before deleting them.
Back in April, Theophilus London played a snippet of the unreleased track during an Instagram Live, and the track (at the time) was repotedly called "Queen Of My Generation".
Last night (30 December) a Miley Cyrus fan account uploaded a screenshot of an Instagram direct message that shows Theophilus London discussing a snippet of the song with an undisclosed recipient, writing, "The full song is the best quality, plus nobody has it. The snippet is high quality also, your choice."
The Cyrus fan account wrote on Twitter, "Apparently, Theophilus London is trying to sell the song "Queen Of This Generation", h[is] partnership with Miley, on Instagram. The rapper is selling the song for $350."
Theophilus London has since responded to the allegation, writing on Twitter, "Was hacked."
