Theme Park announce new record Is This How It Starts?
Theme Park have announced their long-awaited second record Is This How It Starts? and shared new song "I'll Do Anything".
"It's about feeling a connection with someone when they've got a boyfriend," says frontman Miles Haughton of the new single. "It's nice to write a song from the point of view of a villain."
The LP comes four years on from their self-titled debut, and features singles such as "L.A. (Is Stealing My Friends)", "You Are Real", and "Something Good".
"Without getting too philosophical, you're always looking for stories and meanings in the blank space of life," adds Haughton of the record. "Lots of the songs are about the start of relationships, the start of things, reading meaning into things, trying to find the stories."
The North London trio have worked with Ben Garrett (aka Fryars) on their sophomore album, which has taken them three years to complete (although not on a full-time basis).
As well as the single and album news, Theme Park have confirmed a new run of UK dates for May - find out more.
