DHP Group, the people behind Bristol’s Thekla and Rock City in Nottingham, are set to launch a new East London venue.
The news follows the local council’s decision to grant the appropriate license for the group to open a new venue on Hackney’s Amhurst Road. The Dalstonist report that the venue will be located at 1a Amhurst Road, near Hackney Central, renovating what used to be a rail station building.
DHP Group managing director, George Akins said of the news: “We are delighted to have secured licensing for a new venue in Hackney and we’re planning to open something really exciting.”
