The xx have shared new single "Say Something Loving" as they launch into an exciting 2017.
The track follows lead single "On Hold", and is the second track to be released from upcoming third LP I See You.
"On Hold"'s marvellously energetic beat and samples hinted at a new direction for the atmospheric trio, and "Say Something Loving" continues that journey. It's an uplifting ode, with rapid chords and passion galore - it's still got their signature sparseness, but there's a newfound confidence to adore.
The xx have a busy year of touring ahead, including a huge run of festivals and a whopping 7 sold-out London dates. Find out more about their live plans.
I See You is released 13 January via Young Turks. Pre-order now.
