The Wooden Sky mark UK return with new video for "When The Day Is Fresh And The Light Is New"
Toronto’s The Wooden Sky hit the UK next week for a string of shows with fellow Canadians and Nevado Records label mates Yukon Blonde.
To mark the occasion they’ve sent us the brand new video for “When The Day Is Fresh And The Light Is New”, taken from their most recent album Let’s Be Ready.
Unashamedly anthemic, "When The Day Is Fresh And The Light Is New" gradually unfolds and expands, bringing with it a fresh found sense of optimism. As their crunching take on country-rock jangles gives way to a more urgent, driving sound, the song finds the band moving ever closer to capturing the sound of their powerful live show on record.
Spacious and cinematic, the track perfectly mirrors the kaleidoscopic images of a life on the road, and under wide open skies.
