In a recent interview with the Evening Standard, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend recently revealed that The Who will call it a day after a 50th anniversary tour during 2015.
“For the 50th anniversary we’ll tour the world,” Townshend told the London paper. “It’ll be the last big one for us. There are still plenty of places we’ve not played. It would be good to go to eastern Europe and places that haven’t heard us play all the old hits.”
2015 will mark the 50th anniversary of the band’s debut My Generation. Despite plans to bow out, however, the pair are said to be keen to still perform live as solo artists.
