The Weeknd's new album Dawn FM is dropping this week
The Weeknd has announced that his new album Dawn FM is arriving later this week.
After teasing the imminent arrival of his new album on socials over the past few days, The Weeknd has finally confirmed the title and release date of his follow-up to 2020's After Hours.
The new album, titled Dawn FM, was announced with a one-minute trailer, which confirms contributions from Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix, and Jim Carrey.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is yet to share a tracklist for the album.
Tesfaye has had a busy few months following the release of his August 2021 single "Take My Breath". He's collaborated with Kanye West, Belly, Swedish House Mafia and Post Malone, and more recently featured on Rosalía's "LA FAMA", FKA twigs' "Tears In The Club" and Aaliyah's posthumous single "Poison".
