The Weeknd has unveiled his cataclysmic visuals for new single "The Hills".
There's less of Abel Tesfaye's characteristic falsetto, with the verses dropping to a lower register; as far as instrumentation goes, it's sample heavy doom-R&B, with low-slung bass and trap beats. It's not quite the pop route we've seen him undertake lately, but it's pretty huge nonetheless.
There's no official word yet on Tesfaye's thought-to-be-impending new LP, but "The Hills" follows a slew of leaks - including a collaboration with Max Martin - that occurred yesterday (26 May).
