Following on from the summer’s hectic touring schedule, The Wave Pictures have announced their new single ‘Jonny Helm Sings’ will be released through Moshi Moshi on 13 December. The limited edition 7” includes new versions of fan favourites ‘Now You Are Pregnant’ and ‘Sleepy Eye’ with drummer Jonny Helm taking to the vocals in place of the quivering falsetto of lyricist Dave Tattersall.
To accompany this release, the three-piece are set to play two UK dates, including a special Christmas show with label mates Slow Club.
