The War On Drugs, Skrillex and The Black Keys to feature in new Guitar Hero game
The Guitar Hero franchise is making a resurgence this year, and the latest game, Guitar Hero Live has just been officially announced.
The War On Drugs are among the first names confirmed, although the actual track/s have not yet been revealed.
Speaking about the content, Creative Director Jamie Jackson said: "We've gone really broad with our musical genres... if you look at Coachella, you look at Glastonbury... it's diverse. We've brought that to Guitar Hero. If it's got a beat, and it's got a rhythm, you can make good gameplay out of it... we're not making a simulator, we're making a game that's fun."
As well as the Lost In The Dream creators, The Black Keys, Skrillex, Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, My Chemical Romance and The Lumineers. Many more are expected to be confirmed as the game draws closer to its release date.
The game will be released on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U later in the year. Further details of the game are expected at gaming convention E3.
