The War On Drugs announce new podcast with live cover of Warren Zevon's "Accidentally Like a Martyr"
The War On Drugs have announced their new four-part podcast series The Super High Quality Podcast, alongside releasing their live cover of Warren Zevon's "Accidentally Like a Martyr" as the second single from their LIVE DRUGS LP.
Their cover of Zevon's "Accidentally Like a Martyr" follows last month's lead outing "Pain (Live)". Lead vocalist Adam Granduciel says the song is "so simple and true, you should ever be lucky to write a song that simple."
"Accidentally Like a Martyr" arrives alongside news of The War On Drugs' The Super High Quality Podcast, a four-part podcast series that will see the band discuss the decision to release the live LP and the performances themselves. The first episode will air on the LIVE DRUGS album release day - 20 November - with the other three episodes arriving weekly after that.
Last month The War On Drugs debuted new song "Ocean of Darkness" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
