Following The Walkmen’s recent hiatus, frontman Hamilton Leithauser has been prepping his debut solo LP – with Black Hours now scheduled for release in May.

The album comes out one week before fellow bandmate Walter Martin’s upcoming lone effort, featuring the likes of Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors), Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend), Richard Swift (The Shins), Morgen Henderson (Fleet Foxes), as well as The Walkmen’s own Paul Maroon.

You can watch the video for lead track “Alexandra” beneath. Black Hours, described as “half orchestral, half rock ’n’ roll”, will be released on 6 May.

The album’s tracklist is as follows:

1 5 AM
2 The Silent Orchestra
3 Alexandra
4 11 O’Clock Friday Night
5 St Mary’s County
6 Self Pity
