The Velvet Underground to reissue Loaded to celebrate its 45th birthday

The Velvet Underground are continuing their recent tradition of reissuing their records as they hit the big 4-5. Now their famed LP Loaded, originally released back in 1970, is getting its turn.

The reissue total six discs, which features the original record remastered (in both stereo and mono), a range of demos and re-mixes (not like clubby remixes, but mixed differently), a remastered edition of Live at Max's Kansas City, an unrelesed live show from 45 years ago, and an audio DVD.

The Loaded boxset will be released 30 October.
