The Vaccines to headline Liverpool Sound City
The Vaccines have been announced as Liverpool Sound city 2015's Friday night headliner, joining the likes of Belle and Sebastian and the Flaming Lips at the top of the bill.
The Vaccines recently returned from a period of silence with "Handsome", the first taster from their Dave Fridmann-produced third LP, English Graffiti.
Also added to the lineup are Roni Size Reprazent, The Thurston Moore Band, Gaz Coombes, Fucked Up, Evian Christ, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, The Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger, Dum Dum Girls, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Stealing Sheep, Dutch Uncles, Slaves, All We Are, Jane Weaver, Dave McCabe & The Ramifications, The Serpent Power, Bad Breeding, Apes and Single Mothers.
Liverpool Sound City will be celebrating its eighth birthday in a new location at the historic Bramley Moore Docks, changing to a more 'classic' festival feel - with tents and outdoor stages - than it has been in recent years. The music takes place between 22-24 May, with the LSC conference running on 21 and 22 May. Wristbands for the event are available to buy now from here.
