The Vaccines' Justin explains why running is a vital part of balanced mental health
On this week's Talk The Line podcast we talk running for wellbeing with The Vaccines' frontman Justin Young.
This year sees the return of The Vaccines with their fourth album Combat Sports. Now with a five-strong line-up, the upbeat and contagious record finds them moving forward with a re-energised take on the indie rock and roll sound that made their name. The record’s title was inspired after singer Justin Young and guitar Freddie Cowan came to blows on the last day of recording. We’ve never been shy of telling home truths to each other,” says Justin. “We’re like brothers. And brothers fight.”
Regular listeners might remember bassist Árni’s appearance on Talk The Line almost a year ago where he talked about Icelandic history but on today’s podcast we’re with singer Justin exploring the relationship between running and mental health.
