The Strokes have finished recording their new album
The Strokes' guitarist Nick Valensi confirmed that the group have finished recording their new album.
On Q104.3's Out of the Box show, the host spoke to guitarist Nick Valensi about hearing that their new album was finished and ready to mix, to which Valensi replied, "Wow, you heard that...? Who told you that?"
The host added his information came from a "reliable source", with Valensi replying, "Well, it must be true then."
When pressed about release date ideas and the probability of release, Valensi said, "When, I don’t know. If – I would say, a strong likelihood."

The Strokes haven't released new music since their 2016 EP Future Present Past.
Their last album was 2013's Comedown Machine.
