A collaboration that makes more sense socially than sonically, The Strokes’ guitarist Nick Valensi has been recording with former frontwoman of The Distillers, Brody Dalle.
The pair have been working in the studio together with Spinnerette singer Dalle (now legally Dalle-Homme) posting a picture of Valensi on her Instagram. Comments on the photograph seem to suggest that a full-length is coming from the pair.
As FACT note, Valensi and Dalle presumably met through mutual friend Queens of the Stone Age man Josh Homme, who has performed with The Strokes in the past and, as you might have guessed by the double-barrelled name, is married to Dalle.
