The Staves announce new album and tracklisting
Folk-rock trio The Staves have announced the release of their second album, titled If I Was.
Recorded over a few successive visits to Wisconsin with Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, the record is set to be a bold move forwards for the group.
Having supported Bon Iver on tour in America following their 2012 debut, the girls became friends with Vernon, who subsequently invited them to write in his April Base studio, an experience which the girls documented in a video acting as a teaser for new material.
