The Spook School are splitting up later this year
The Spook School have announced they'll be parting ways later this year after eight years together.
Edinburgh four-piece The Spook School have revealed they'll be calling it a day after three albums, and will be embarking on a farewell tour later this year.
Announcing the news with a statement, The Spook School revealed they have decided to part ways because "real life has a habit of getting in the way and eating up time and energy. We just can’t devote ourselves to the band the way we want to anymore".
They add, "It has been eight years, three albums, countless silly covers, hundreds of adventures, and one highly unofficial endorsement from Linda McCartney’s Vegetarian Sausages. We will never forget our time as The Spook School." Read the full statement below.
Last year The Spook School released their third album Could It Be Different?, which was nominated for Scottish Album Of The Year.
