The Smiths are releasing two previously unheard songs as part of a new single release
The long-disbanded indie pioneers will release a new (old) demo mix of "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" and an unreleased edit of "Rubber Ring", as fansite True To You reveals.
Manchester-born Oscar nominee Albert Finney features on the single's artwork - which is designed by Morrissey himself.
The new single comes after it emerged that The Smiths were inches from reuniting just a few years ago.
The new 7" will be released via Warner. Full details of the single will be revealed in the near future.
