Online music superstore Rhino is preparing to release a huge box set that will basically contain everything The Smiths ever recorded. The Smiths Complete – Deluxe Collectors Box Set will feature re-mastered versions of eight albums (on CD and vinyl) as well as reproduced versions of an incredible 25 7” singles – and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Limited to 3000 copies worldwide and expected for 3 October, all the music from this set was re-mastered from original tape sources and also includes album artwork, posters, a DVD of all their music videos, oh and a code to download the whole thing. So if you were thinking of sprucing up your collection of the legendary Manchester four-piece’s work, now is clearly the time to do so.
